Description
The Boltysh crater formed 65 million years ago when a meteorite heated to the melting point due to friction with the atmosphere and exploded forming a 24 km in diameter crater. This sample was taken in 2013 from a hole 806 m deep that studied the geology of the crater.
Certificate of authenticity included. IMCA 5591.
