Description
The Windimurra meteorite was found in 2004 in Australia. Several large, fractured and broken, crusted masses and many smaller fragments totaling more than 30 kg were found scattered on the surface over a large area near Windimurra Station. The first find was about 3 km N of Kantie Murdana Hill. It is classified as an H4/5 chondrite. Most material was kept in the Western Australian Museum.
