Description
This chondrite meteorite that was found in Sahara desert and bought to a Saharaui dealer in 2020. Chondrites are called so because they contain chondrules. Chondrules were molten droplets of silicates in space that accreted together with some free metals to form the first asteroids 4550 million years ago. They are older than the Earth.
This specimen has fusion crust in some faces and is desert varnished in others. It is probably an L3 subtype of chondrite.
