Description
Known also by the official name NWA 859 this meteorite is classified as a plessitic octahedrite iron, ungrouped. It was found in Morocco in 2001 near the city of Taza but in a undisclosed location, so it was given a NWA number. Taza has become rarer in the market as the total amount of kilos found was low.
This piece has an attractive shape and a conserves its nice natural patina.
Certificate of authenticity included. IMCA 5591.
