Description
The Mundrabilla meteorite was discovered twice. In 1966 two small pieces were found. But in 1979, two new masses were found 20km east of the first ones, this time 800 and 840 kilos. They were only 180 meters apart, very small distance considering the speed at which meteorites reach the Earth. The Mundrabilla meteorite is classified as an iron IAB-ung. It usually has a nice orange patina, smooth shapes and a beautiful Widmanstatten pattern when cut.
For sale an invididual piece of the Mundrabilla meteorite.
